Georgian Alterg Candlestick (Set of 2)

An oversized cousin to our popular Georgian Candlesticks, this decidedly formidable taper holder with an exceptionally sturdy base was fashioned from a bronze original that, based on its provenance, we have to assume held pride of place in the sanctuary of an ancient Greek Orthodox Church. A full “X” inches tall without a candle, she adds a holy dose of drama to any table, and shines brightest when assembled with a collection of other candlesticks for a truly collective glow. Hand-carved by skilled artisans in our workshop in Karnataka, the Altar Candlestick is available in both black lacquered and natural beechwood finishes.
